Escaping the Law of Lindow

Escaping the Law of LIndow Cover Updated Photoshop.jpg

Innocence from a life of evil.

After a great sickness sweeps through the Kingdom, Fleeta goes from being a servant, to a homeless young woman all alone with nowhere to go.  When soldiers from the Kingdom of Ironhaven appear to save her and bring her back to the main city to start a new life, she can only hope she'll be able to start over, leaving all her awful memories behind.

The only issue is, she is absolutely terrified of men.  And these men want to travel to the edges of the Kingdom, places that the King had abandoned more than fifty years before.  Villages under the Law of Lindow, where strict rules are put into place to enslave and terrify women and young girls, trapping them with the fear of disobeying.

But as Fleeta travels with these soldiers, she finds herself trusting the three men in charge, and ends up under the protection of their leader, Hawk.

Can a woman so terrified of men come to trust and develop feelings for one who truly cares for her?  Will she be able to explain to them all the horrors they will be facing in the villages under the Law of Lindow?  And what will they find as they try to save all the inhabitants who fear them so much?

Hope in defiance of suffering.

Fleeta and her friends have been captured, taken to Refuge to become Temptors for the men left under the Law of Lindow.

Will Hawk and his men be able to save them in time before more scars and trauma are inflicted upon them?

Will they ever make it to Ironhaven to start a new life, free from the bonds that held them down for so long?
